I’ve always been a people watcher and nearly always find interest when being in a different place. More often than not I see generalised similarities and differences in people living or frequenting certain places. For example you would probably see that some folks would look a little out-of-place in Beverly Hills, of which I’d include myself. Inevitably these observations end up in my sketchbook. Above is a quicksketch done in my sketchbook (few minutes or less) while out. Some of this is what I draw upon for character designs.
