I’ve always been a people watcher and nearly always find interest when being in a different place. More often than not I see generalised similarities and differences in people living or frequenting certain places. For example you would probably see that some folks would look a little out-of-place in Beverly Hills, of which I’d include myself. Inevitably these observations end up in my sketchbook. Above is a quicksketch done in my sketchbook (few minutes or less) while out. Some of this is what I draw upon for character designs later (of course).

This holiday my spare time is happily set aside for walking along various shorelines with my daughter. I loved the ocean as long as I could remember. The immensity of the horizon seems to put things in their proper perspective, makes other concerns insignificant.

Also I want to say I’d like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday.

At least one of the places. Some may recognize this photo posted for a short time in a different format here. It’s returned to stay. I think this photo offers a nice contrast to the snow. If you don’t see it move your mouse.

Intelligent and well written this gentleman’s blog really does what a blog should. On this, one of his posts is a prime example of that.
